RECOVERY COACHES

A Recovery Coach is a Certified Peer Specialist (CRPS) who self-identifies as a person in recovery. The CRPS credential identifies individuals that used their lived experience and learned skills to help others achieve and sustain recovery.

RECOVERY COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS

A Recovery Community Organization (RCO) is an independent, non-profit organization led and governed by concerned community members who have a passion for the recovery movement. To maintain a connection between the organization and the recovery community, 51% of the Board of Directors self-identify as individuals in recovery.
